Bito takes only 10 minutes to fill water now
posted August 26, 2012
Thank you for providing Bito Acen, and nine others like him access to water.
Here’s Bito’s story in his own words- “My parents use to beat me because I would delay at the former source. But now I take not more than 10 minutes (to fill up water) at the new source, because I just have to pump direct from the pipe into my jerrycan.”
Life is hard for people, like Bito Acen, living in rural Uganda. Thank you for coming together to remove one hardship.

Samuel goes to school on time now!
posted June 28, 2012
During the dry season, water sources in Samuel’s village in Ogur county in the Lira district of Uganda, would all dry up. People in the community would wake up at 5:00am and go 10 kilometers over to the next village in order to collect water from their borehole. “We would reach school very late,” he said. “Ever since this borehole was drilled by Divine Water, I have never gone to school late.”
Samuel wants to thank you for donating towards his village’s borehole! He is extremely grateful for your contributions!

Residents in Munu Village now have clean water!
posted March 27, 2012
Otwal Denis lives in Munu Village, in Uganda’s Lira District. He remembers that very recently his village suffered from a contaminated water source. “We have been sharing our former water source with animals,” he says, “Whenever it rains, the water would be dirty and white like milk.”
A lack of clean water can result in infections and disease, and can lead an entire community to struggle. This gift of a well will improve living conditions for the entire village, allowing them to drink, wash, and go about their daily lives without concern for their health due to dirty water. “I thank those who gave their money for drilling our new water source,” Denis says. “The contribution you made has changed our life.”

Daniel lives in Okano Idero village in Agweng county, northern Uganda. He thanks God for bringing him and his village a source of clean water. He says that they have been drinking water from unprotected sources, and as a result, people have been suffering from water borne disease. Daniel himself missed school for two weeks in a row because he got sick from drinking dirty water.
The water well that you have provided Daniel and his family is a huge blessing. They can now improve their lives in every way since they can rely on clean water and stay much stronger and healthier.
Thank you!
