Margret is 42 years old and is married with one child. She and her family live in the village of Alam, in Northern Uganda. She reports that life is better now because of the borehole. Because the water is good, it serves a very large population. The former source, a lake, has been completely abandoned.
The borehole well that you helped build serves close to 200 families. Divine Waters Uganda ensures that the source is always staffed with a caretaker from the community to ensure that there are no problems for families that come to fetch water.
Margret also reported that in the past, it was difficult to properly clean the utensils used at home due to shortage of water. Now, with the abundance of clean water, cleaning is no longer a problem.
Thank you Elizabeth for your generous support, which has provided water for 10 people in this community!
